Hi, I’m Caroline. I studied Medical Laboratory Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and later earned my Master’s in Medical Genetics and Multiomics at UCL. My path into medical writing was personal—shaped by my family’s history with genetic illness and a desire to make science more understandable, more human. I focus on academic writing in medicine, life sciences, and biotechnology—mainly essays, literature reviews, and research-based work. With years of experience, I’m used to breaking down complex topics with clear logic, while keeping a sense of warmth and empathy in the language. Away from the screen, I enjoy long walks, reflective reading, and writing personal essays—often about illness, choice, and growth. To me, writing isn’t just a tool—it’s a way of making sense of the world, and helping others do the same.
